To promote academic excellence, the writing centre has a series of generic workshops that are conducted throughout the year topics for workshops include: Writing for academic purposes: Analysing assignment questions, writing with clarity, Proofreading with precision, writing with integrity: Using scholarly sources effectively, Working with disciplinary staff the WC also facilitates discipline focused academic workshops.
